Scoops in Southsea

Sorry the outings have gone fortnightly - work and social commitments are ruining our Saturdays out!
Last Saturday we headed to Southsea to try out Scoops Gelato. It did not disappoint! Opening 0700 - 2400, we were the only ones in there at 0900.
Inside Scoops Southsea

Very similar (exactly the same really), to the Sprinkles gelato chain, from the décor to the menu.Great service, lovely coffee.... and 2 huge white chocolate waffles (one with an extra dollop of pistachio and one bubble gum icecream in addition to cream) for £20. Not the cheapest but good for what you get.
Before.....
They do a 'doggy bag' if you want it - but Margaret and I did well, although I did feel ill and did not eat for the rest of the day!
After!!! (didn't we do well?!!)

Have not had many walks together over the last 2 weeks. Did manage a wet one at Swanwick Nature Reserve.

We don't like rain!!
As the weather has suddenly become more autumnal (and subsequently wet!) the wellies are back out. And more get-togethers in house!

Awww

You would think I was holding food or something..

Busy clearing the leaves/garden chores before winter sets in. Peggy was very sad that one of her fish (the youngest Koi :( , had gone to Nemo heaven, and helped me lay it to rest (ok ... she tried to eat it!).
Bye Bye Nemo....

Poor fishie.....

Polly helps in the garden in her own little way (putting the ball in the way of everything!).

Polly not at all interested in the 4 remaining fishes. Peggy however.....

they love each other really

She manages a couple of shorter walks during the week, along with her hydrotherapy.

Peggy gets a couple of longer walks to try and tire her out.... though shes rubbish at selfies!

Look at the camera.......

'fat bottomed girls...' la la la!
Happy post chasing deer!

Deer spotted - while camera in hand!!

Poor Jessie has been trying out her best RSPCA look, as she frequently winds her mum up by rolling in the not so pleasant joys of the countryside, and then needs a shower.
Ok - will never roll in fox poo again. (until the next time!)

Blonde 'bangs' are all the rage...

Probably a couple of weeks til our next entry, as I have to work this weekend. Bah.

Until next time! ......................x (and lots of special prayers and crossed paws for our dear friend Bud - hope you get better soon!)

We know you are there watching over us Mr J!! x
