Macro at Segensworrth

Ok, yesterdays breakfast out was not the most exciting and attractive location, but we decided to go to the Macro Cash and Carry in Segensworth. We did have a more exciting plan, but the rain clouds were looming, so thought we would check out the café inside the Macro superstore .

Value wise - its a bargain! We were the only people there, in the small café on the right as you go in. £3.99 for a total of 11 items off their cooked breakfast menu.

Choice of scrambled egg/black pudding/bacon/sausage/baked beans/tomato/mushrooms/hash browns. So we had 2 breakfasts for the price of 1, as just had 6 items each (gained an extra sausage, without paying the 47p as an extra!).

(we both had 2 sausages - so one wrapped up for the doggies on return home).

Margaret has a Macro card - as you cannot get in without one. Had a wander around after brekkie. It used to be great value on certain products, but with various other retailers like Poundland, Ikea, The Range, there are less bargains by the time you have added on the 20% VAT.

Post breakfast walkies was at Whiteley pastures, We decided to take it easy, and Jake drove, with Jessie helping Aunty Jan with the clutch and gear stick.
Mirror, Signal, Dogoeuvre......... Bark!
Am sitting on the clutch Aunty Jan!

Peggy was on reverse parking duty watch in the back, as Jake couldn't quite see in the rear view mirror.

Lovely long walk through the meadow, and back round through the woods and pine forest. Wellies definitely recommended as we had to scale a couple of rivers, and it was fairly muddy.

Polly always seems to miss out on Saturday post brekkie walkies, but she always has her hydrotherapy in the afternoon so does enough exercise and fun then.

That's all for now.................
