BREEZES Hill Head

With the threat of rain, we again aborted brekkie out with the dogs, and went for the first time to Breezes restaurant
in Hill Head.
Another winner! Lovely open 'seaside' theme, with many canvas paintings, comic and nautical signs on display and for sale.
Margaret ordering....
Good service and not bad pricing - with a slightly quirky menu, again 'seaside' based. They have seating areas outside
Outside seating
(though not a garden as such), and an upstairs area.

Brekkie menu
We both chose waffles, Margaret having 2 waffles with mixed berries, maple syrup and cream and I had 2 with bacon and maple syrup.

Yummy! Our usual white coffees were lovely too.
After spotting the 'dog' breakfast on the menu, a couple with a Labrador came and sat next to us, so it was a bonus to know dogs can come inside too!
Doggie Brekkie menu!
Parking was the only minor hiccup. We parked in the carpark adjacent to Breezes, and not until we left did we realise it is for the pub/restaurant opposite (The Osborne View) use only. Hence came across a barrier with a keycode. Luckily there were staff at work in the pub, so got the code and got out - but be forewarned! So not too sure where the best parking is.

Home - then straight out with Peggy, Jake and Jessie for Saturday walkies (Polly missing out as off to her hydrotherapy later).
One of our frequent walks to Titchfield Haven/canal, but we always park in Posbrook road (as parking can be difficult in the small carpark in Titchfield). Lovely walk down through farmland (spinach season!) and down a lane to join the canal - about 10 minutes from the road so the dogs can get a drink/swim early on, and we don't need to carry water for them.
If you are unnerved by horses - you will see a fair few!
The large field on the left was you walk down has, at a guess, 40 horses and young foals in.
Lovely to watch, but there is a sign post for ramblers into the field at the top - if it looks empty - the horses can come galloping round any time! Like dray horses - friendly - but skittish!

Jake seems to be turning into a waterdog - and taking himself in for a paddle
Jake heading in - by himself!
. Jessie also went for a swim
Jessies enforced swim!
- but not by choice as she had rolled in 'fox' perfume, so was 'encouraged' in! Lovely walk along the canal and up to the back fields of Croton Manor riding school
Heading for the back of Crofton stables
Deeper water for a good swim (not that Peggy was going in!) by the bridge

Back home for Saturday chores. Planning a trip that poor Polly can come on too, but she is always exhausted after her swim.....

 See you next time!
