ABOUT US

We are two friends who enjoy going out for breakfast most Saturday mornings.  We live in Locks Heath and we try out lots of different restaurants/cafes in this area, Warsash, Botley, New Forest, and anywhere in South Hampshire really.

We always try and remember which ones we liked best but it gets difficult, so we thought we would do a Blog.  This will not only help us but hopefully others may find it useful as well. Plus including opening hours and prices. And quality!

We have never blogged before and had absolutely no idea how to go about it but luckily I have a very clever and patient daughter.
We shall try and be very honest with our reviews, praise where it is deserved and maybe a little bit of critisism if needed. Hopefully we can make it fun as well. We shall comment on the food and the service we receive.  In the summer we look for places with an outside eating area so that we can take our dogs.  We shall comment on this as well, and link in some dog walks.

We will welcome any comments or suggestions as this will help us to make our blog more interesting.

    1. Lovely to hear from you and glad that you enjoy our blog. Who knows, one day we may get to Lulworth. A bit difficult at the moment as Jake is so poorly and Polly can't walk too far. The Bayside at Stokes Bay is definitely on our list of 'to visits'. Thanks for commenting Margaret x

    2. Yeah! Hopefully it is getting more interesting as we are including more dog walks and local events rather than just brekkie. The Castle Inn sounds great - and meeting up with Daisy,Tess and Rosie sounds brill. Though as Margaret says our 2 oldies would probably have to stay in the pub ! Could do a Gillkicker walk and outside Bayside brekkie soon? Jan and Polly and Peggy xx
