This week we chose to go local and as we should make the most of the summer we wanted to eat outdoors. We came across Bistro8 at Universal Marina at Sarisbury a few weeks ago when it had just opened and wanted to give it a try. Also we really wanted to visit our donkey and llama friends again.
The Bistro has a lovely garden with views over the Hamble. They welcome dogs and are quite happy for you to walk them through the restaurant to get to the garden. We took Peggy and Jessie with us this week.
We both chose the eggs Benedict which were lovely. Nice lean ham, perfectly cooked eggs and plenty of tasty sauce served on baps.
Not the cheapest of breakfasts, cost us a bit over £20 for the two of us which did include coffee. You can see by Peggy's tongue that she quite fancied it too but we are too mean. We did save them a bit of ham.
After we had finished eating we went to visit out friends in the nearby field again. At first we couldn't see so many of them but they soon came running over. Some of the donkeys had babies with them.
It is really lovely down on the shore at Swanwick, I think sometimes we forget what a nice area we live in.
After our walk Peggy went off to visit Jan's Mum which they both enjoy.
Sunday Jan very kindly agreed to babysit Jessie at hers but will she want her again after these pictures?
This is Jan playing with her phone and taking a comic picture.
Well I think that is enough for this week, more next time.............................Margaret x
Looks a nice place, lovely views. Those eggs look delicious.
