Lu Chinos, Gosport & Jo Jo's, Fareham

We have two Saturday outings to share with you this time. The first one is Lu Chinos cafe in Gosport. We have been there before at least a year ago but we love it so decided it was time for another visit.

Once again the breakfast was excellent. You need to be hungry as you get a real plateful.

Usually when we go back to a place we always try something different but sorry we enjoyed this so much last time we had to have it again. We both went for the American Breakfast.  It is a real indulgence, you get all the regular things like fried bread, bacon, sausage and eggs plus pancakes with maple syrup. Very good value at £5.95 and it includes your coffee or juice if you prefer.

A bit wicked on the hips but there you go. We do try and walk it off later.

On Saturday 28th February we went to Jo Jo's in Fareham.

 JoJo's Fareham
It was a late birthday treat for Jan so we thought we would do something different. The link will take you to their face book page as they don't yet have a web-site. It is an ice cream parlour with a huge range of flavours.

We both chose to have the Banoffee waffles. You get a choice of small, medium and large so we went for medium which was two waffles.

Hmmm!! Looked wonderful and tasted wonderful.  Not huge so we were glad we didn't go for small but it is nice to have the choice. The ice cream was delicious too.  Bit more walking needed!

We've done a few walks this week, this one is up the Nature reserve at Swanwick. Right next to the air traffic control. It is a lovely walk but still very muddy so definitely wellies needed.

I'm always a little bit wary when I do this walk as very occasionally they have a few Highland cattle wandering about. They don't seem to take any notice of people but I'm a bit of a coward.

That walk would have been too much for Polly so she stayed behind and guarded her home. Jan does bring her out on some of our shorter walks so we will get more pics next week. And, she still does her hydrotherapy.  Well done Polly!! x
